After considerable deliberaion, Carlos Echaves, founder and president of Retro Activ Games is announcing a collaboration with video game industry veterans Tom Carroll and David Dentt to redirect a part of his company to provide a broad range of services to existing game developers. That new part will be Retro Activ GDS.

 

Echaves founded Retro Activ Games in 2010 to spearhead development of his own titles, such as Space Baby Patrol and Lighting Streak. He is in talks to begin work on an update to one of his classic arcade games. He is also narrowing down the search for consortium partners with which to develop a prototype for the Candy Popper!! series of bulk candy redemption games.

 

But even as he has laid all the groundwork for successful arcade games, industry veterans have asked him if his company could provide other services, such as:

 

• Game Design

• Game and Cabinet Graphics

• Programming

• Advertising and brochure design

• Public relations

• Web development

 

Through Retro Active GDS, this can now happen.
